This is a full scale replica of a 30 mm round for a GAU-8 Avenger cannon, the main weapon on the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II. I was taking pictures of it for reference photos for an illustration I was working on, but the photos came out so interesting that I thought I would play with them a little too. I made a 16×9 aspect ratio background for anyone to use. Also is an ipod and ipad version.
