Color version here. This is a picture of downtown Boise during thunderstorm. We rarely get such good lightening storms and I was not the only photographer at the Depot. There was about 30 other people, half with cameras, Fire chiefs and some party goers. Nature putting on quite the show.
I used a manual exposure setting of 30 seconds, with manual focus. Because my tripod is currently missing a screw I used a stone bench as a stable surface.
